Step into the rolling green fields of the sheep pasture hex, where the ever-faithful Australian Shepherd stands as both guardian and guide. Inspired by the Settlers of Catan sheep resource tile, this artwork transforms the classic sheep hex into a tribute to herding dogs—symbols of intelligence, loyalty, and purpose.

This piece is part of my ongoing Acrylic April Catan Series, where each resource tile is paired with a dog breed that naturally embodies its environment. The Australian Shepherd represents the sheep/pasture resource, watching over the flock and standing firmly rooted in the land it protects.

🎨 Materials & Craftsmanship:
This artwork was created using Stuart Semple Super Base and White 2.0 acrylic paint, layered for strong contrast and bold presence. Details were refined using POSCA acrylic paint pens, then sealed with a protective mattifying membrane coat varnish. Final touches were digitally enhanced using Snapseed and Procreate to ensure clarity and presentation for print.

🎲 Perfect For:
• Settlers of Catan fans and board game collectors
• Players looking to represent the sheep resource hex in a unique way
• Australian Shepherd owners and dog lovers
• Game room, office, or tabletop-inspired decor

Bring the spirit of the sheep hex to your walls and let this pasture guardian watch over your space.
