A bold Siberian Husky stands against a rugged ore rock hex—capturing strength, endurance, and the spirit of the mountains in this Settlers of Catan–inspired artwork.
Forged in the spirit of stone and strength, Orebound Husky Guardian brings the power of the ore hex to life through the loyal presence of a Siberian Husky. Set against a rugged, rock-textured background, this piece represents endurance, resilience, and the unshakable foundation of the mountains in Settlers of Catan.
This artwork is part of my Custom Settlers of Catan Dog Hex Series, where each resource tile is reimagined through a breed that embodies its essence. The husky, known for its toughness and determination, perfectly reflects the raw energy and durability of the ore resource.
Created with Stuart Semple Super Base, layered with White 2.0 acrylic paint, and sealed using a protective mattifying membrane coat varnish, this piece is enhanced with bold detailing using POSCA acrylic paint pens. Final refinements were made digitally in Snapseed and Procreate, blending traditional and modern techniques.
Whether you're a fan of Catan, a husky enthusiast, or a collector of unique dog artwork, this piece adds a striking, game-inspired edge to your space.
