Bring the world of tabletop adventure into your space with “Forestbound Guardian: Swiss Shepherd Hex.” This artwork is a print reproduction of an original hand-painted wood hex tile, created as part of my Acrylic April Art Challenge.

Inspired by Settlers of Catan, this piece represents the forest (wood) resource tile, reimagined with a Swiss Shepherd standing as a loyal woodland guardian. The composition blends board game inspiration with expressive dog art, creating a piece that feels both familiar and entirely new.

While the original was painted on a wooden hex surface, this listing offers a high-quality print version, allowing you to enjoy the artwork in a clean, display-ready format—perfect for framing, decorating a game room, or gifting to a fellow dog or tabletop fan.

🎨 Original Artwork Process:
The original hex tile was created using Culture Hustle art supplies, including Superbase (mighty matte medium), White 2.0 acrylic paint, and COAT (a protective mattifying membrane used as a top coat varnish). Color was applied using POSCA acrylic paint pens, then refined digitally using Snapseed and Procreate for a polished final presentation.

This print is part of a larger series transforming a classic board game into a fully illustrated, dog-themed world—one hex at a time.
