There’s something truly magical about the holiday season—the glow of warm lights, the scent of pine, the joyful chaos of decorating, and of course, the love of our four-legged friends. My newest artwork, “Holiday Helpers: Trimming the Tree Together,” was inspired by all of those feelings wrapped into one charming scene.

In this festive digital painting, a team of dogs gathers around a Christmas tree, each contributing their own personality to the decorating adventure. The Swiss Shepherd stretches tall to place the star, the Golden Retriever watches with gleeful excitement, the Dachshund gets adorably tangled in twinkling lights, and the Husky carefully nudges an ornament into place. Outside the window, a snowy landscape adds an extra layer of winter magic.

This piece was created as a speed painting, allowing me to capture the energy, spontaneity, and joy of the moment. As I worked, the scene naturally flowed into a heartwarming story—one about teamwork, friendship, and the cozy comfort that pets bring during the holidays. Every glowing bulb and every wagging tail is meant to evoke the spirit of the season.

“Holiday Helpers” celebrates the beauty of shared moments, even (and especially) the messy ones. If you’ve ever tried decorating a tree with pets nearby, you know exactly what I mean! This artwork is a tribute to that cozy, comedic charm—perfect for anyone who loves dogs, Christmas traditions, or warm, family-friendly art.

Whether displayed in a living room, entryway, or holiday gallery wall, this piece brings instant cheer and seasonal warmth. Prints are available in a variety of sizes and formats so you can bring this joyful moment into your home.
