Pasturebound Corgi: Keeper of the Flock – A Cheerful Guardian of the Sheep Hex
Apr 27, 2026
Few dogs bring as much joy and personality into a room as a Corgi, and Pasturebound Corgi: Keeper of the Flock was created to capture exactly that spirit. Set against a bright green sheep pasture hex inspired by Settlers of Catan, this artwork combines playful dog charm with tabletop gaming nostalgia. The Corgi’s happy expression, upright ears, and unmistakable silhouette make it a natural fit for the fertile pasture fields of the board game world.
The pasture hex is one of the most iconic resources in Catan, representing sheep, growth, and productive land. In this piece, the lush green grid-style landscape creates a bold and vibrant backdrop while the smiling Corgi becomes the central guardian of the flock. It’s a fun crossover between strategy gaming culture and canine portrait art, made for collectors who enjoy both hobbies.
This artwork was hand-created using Stuart Semple Super Base, White 2.0 acrylic paint, protective mattifying membrane coat varnish, and POSCA acrylic paint pens. After the traditional painting process was complete, the final image was refined using Snapseed and Procreate for a polished print presentation.
Whether you’re decorating a game room, office, living space, or searching for a gift for a Corgi lover, this piece adds warmth, humor, and personality anywhere it hangs.
