The rugged power of the north meets the timeless spirit of strategy gaming in Stoneforge Malamute, an original Alaskan Malamute artwork inspired by the ore hex of Settlers of Catan. With a commanding stance set against a weathered stone background, this piece captures the Malamute’s reputation for endurance, loyalty, and raw strength. Like the ore resource itself, this breed symbolizes resilience forged under pressure and beauty shaped by the elements.

Created on a wooden hex tile using Stuart Semple Super Base, White 2.0 acrylic paint, protective mattifying membrane coat varnish, and POSCA acrylic paint pens, this mixed-media original was later refined in Snapseed and Procreate to become a polished print-ready design. The result blends handcrafted texture with clean modern presentation, making it ideal for game rooms, offices, cabins, and dog-loving homes alike.

For fans of Alaskan Malamutes, fantasy-inspired décor, and board game culture, this piece offers a unique collectible style that stands apart from ordinary pet art. Whether displayed solo or alongside the growing Catan dog hex series, Stoneforge Malamute brings bold personality and mountain-forged presence to your wall.
